1970 (H) Jaguar E-Type S2 4.2 Roadster

A Beautiful useable example of the iconic Jaguar E-Type

This Series 2 4.2 Drophead Coupe has had only three owners from new with the last owning the car for some 21 years!

The car has had many thousands of pounds spent over the years and we have prepared the car for sale over a few months to a very high standard. The underside of the car is superb and is completed with a stainless exhaust system.

The car was subject to a partial body restoration some years ago which included new sills and a full repaint, we have rejuvenated areas of tired paintwork and improved the finish to its current gloss. In 2006 a brand new Mohair hood was fitted at a cost of £2700.00

Mechanically the car is sound and has clearly been maintained well throughout its life and still drives beautifully. In 2006 the suspension was stripped and rebuilt at a cost of around £2000 and the car now rides extremely well on its stunning chrome wire wheels.

Under the bonnet we have completed a great deal of work, detailing the engine bay with many parts stripped and cleaned as required resulting in the exceptionally well presented example you see.

The interior, in classic black leather has been refreshed and door seals etc have been replaced.

This very nice Jaguar is all ready to go and is sure to give its next owner many years of enjoyment.
