Original Z28 Show Standard Restoration

Only 1,000m since Full Restoration

This stunning Z28 Camaro was imported from Pennsylvania and was fully restored by marque guru Marc Lamude of Lamude Racing Engines.

Mechanically the car had been modified in the USA with many high end performance parts and just needed Marc’s expertise to fettle and fine tune all the modifications resulting in the stunning drive that the car now provides.

The car was white when it arrived in the UK and did the car no favours, however Marc has returned the car to its original colour of Medium Orange metallic and the Camaro was instantly transformed into the stunning vehicle you see today. The paint work is superb and the painted in black stripes look glorious. The brightwork, glass, lights and all trim is excellent and the new attractive quarter bumpers give the car a much more aggressive look.

The interior of this second generation Camaro presents very well, Black vinyl throughout with matching dash and headlining all in stunning condition, the front bucket seats are pristine and the rears look like they have never been used. The whole cabin including the trunk has been treated to Dynomat insulation and the carpets are excellent. The original specification steering wheel is excellent and the white Hurst shitfer for the 4-spd manual is both attractive and purposeful.

The dashboard is perfect with no splits or warps and the old instrumentation has been replaced with Dolphin gauges which give perfect readouts. There is a  four point roll bar fitted but this is a simple bolt in or out item so can easily be removed if required.

The engine is where the fun really starts, a fresh 350cui V8 boasting Edelbrock aluminium heads, roller rockers, Comp Camps uprated cam, Edelbrock intake manifold, a new carburettor and a pair of steel four branch headers. The soundtrack is glorious, a large bore exhaust with X-pipe flowmaster silencers ensure that and this snappy V8 revs fast & clean without any hint of laziness!

The transmission is a Muncie four-speed M20 which has been rebuilt. The rear end is a 12-bolt with limited-slip and 355 gears. The car has disc brakes all round (C4 out back with Wilwood calipers up front), there’s a heavy duty rear anti-roll bar, upgraded coilover front suspension (Edelbrock) and new suspension out back, Global West subframe connectors have been fitted, there are adjustable upper A arms, solid bushings and also an uprated, thicker front anti-roll bar.

If you are looking for what must be one of the finest second generation Camaros then look no further, this car will not disappoint on any level.
