1955 Triumph TR2 (RHP 564)

£39,995

1955 Triumph TR2 (RHP 564)

Finished in Dark Blue with Red Leather Seats & Dash complimented with Red Carpets & a Black Hood.

This car started its life on 27/5/1955 as a Signal Red / Fawn Leather car and was a works demonstrator as confirmed by its included Heritage Certificate. Factory options include Wire Wheels, Overdrive, Adjustable Steering Column & Heater.

At some point in its life it has been fully restored and the colours changed to the car presented today, when this was done we don’t know but MOT’s accompanying the car dating back to 1992 all show it as Blue.

The car presents well today, the paintwork only displaying a few minor blemishes and chips with the interior remaining in lovely condition.

Mechanically the car drives extremely well and lots of invoices for work are in the file.

Previous owners include Neil Fender (Fender Broad Classic Cars) who in 2015 leant the car to “Classic Cars” magazine who featured it in a “50’s Sportscars Shootout” of which a copy accompanies the car.
