The 488 is a significant car as it marked a change in direction for Ferrari’s long line of mid-engine V8s. Gone is the naturally aspirated 4.5L V8 found in the sublime 458 Italia and in its place is a downsized, direct-injection 3.9L Twin-Turbocharged V8. It is more efficient but also massively more powerful and has won numerous awards including the prestigious ‘International Engine of the Year’.

The vehicle is finished with a 4 layered custom Giallo Paint including the painted tricolour stripe running from the front to the back of the vehicle, Nero black leather interior with the central part of the racing seats in yellow leather with contrasting tricolour leather central stripe, Tricolour 12 o’clock marker stripe.  The driver and passenger mats are finished in a black super fabric the rear shelf has also been finished in the same fabric.
