This ultra rare 1972 ‘Flat Light’ Celica is one of only a dozen or so examples left in the UK.

Our CEO purchased this car 7 years ago to restore for his own private collection (Owner No.3 on the log book) but unfortunately didn’t have the time to complete. He then sold the car to Bob Clark, AKA Celica Bob who still owns the car to this day.

For those in the know, Bob Clark is widely accepted as one of the best and most respected Celica experts in the country. This is his own personal car restored by him to what can only be described as concourse condition with several show winning trophies to prove.

This car has only covered 716 ‘Dry’ miles since the complete nut and bolt restoration!

During the restoration the shell was completely stripped and fully soda blasted back to bare metal before painting inside and out in the original Panama Yellow by one of the best in the business. It has a brand new complete carpet set supplied by Toyota as well as all new interior. The engine was completely stripped and rebuilt using all new parts, it has the ‘Twin Asian carbs’ fitted which have been stripped and rebuilt. It also has a brand new 5 speed gearbox fitted which makes the car far more drivable and usable than the original 4.

We can quite confidently say, this car is probably better than when it left the factory new! You will struggle to find one better.

These cars surely can only appreciate in value and represent massive value (and potential investment opportunity) compared to comparative home grown oval badged alternatives now fetching huge prices.
